Movie poster for Rod Lurie's STRAW DOGS

Here is the first poster for Rod Lurie's remake of 1971's Straw Dogs. The film stars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgård, Walton Goggins and Drew Powell.

Synopsis:

David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father's death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy's ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation. 

Straw Dogs is set for release on September 16th 2010. Check out the trailer we posted HERE. I think that the film looks decent, even though I loved the original film. Are you looking forward to seeing this?
