Simon Kinberg hired to rewrite McG's OUIJA action-adventure

Simon Kinberg has been hired to rewrite McG's supernatural board game Ouija, which is being turned into an action-adventure film. The project, which is being produced by Michael Bay's production company, has had a previous drafts penned by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis (Lost and Tron: Legacy).

Kinberg is best known for his script work on Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Sherlock Holmes, among others. He has worked with McG together on the upcoming romantic comedy This Means War. I am not too excited about this film or the number of other board games becoming feature films. What are your thoughts on this news?
