CONAN THE BARBARIAN Red-Band Trailer
Lionsgate has released a CG blood filled red-band trailer for the Conan The Barbarian reboot, which I'm not really impressed with so far. The new red-band trailer shows off some of the poorly done bright red CG blood that just doesn't look right. I'm not a big fan of CG blood in general, but I assume that what we see in this new trailer isn't fully complete. There is some cool stuff to be seen here, I just wish this actually felt like a Conan film.
The movie was directed by Marcus Nispel and stars the Jason Momoa as Conan, Stephen Lang, Said Taghmaoui, Rachel Nichols and Leo Howard.
The movie is set to be released on August 19th 2011. Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think! I have to ask what do you think about the rock music they've been playing with the trailer? It doesn't work for me.
Here's the Synopsis:
Conan is a young Cimmerian man cast adrift in the world by the brutal murder of his father and the destruction of his village. Driven by the need to avenge himself upon the evil Khalar Zym, Conan learns to steal, seduce, and fight his way to his goals. He soon discovers, however, that there are greater things at stake than his own personal quest: an unearthly malevolence stalks the world, and it may be up to Conan himself to save Hyboria from ruin.
