LIFE OF PI release date pushed back to make way for THE HOBBIT

It looks as though none shall pass, or should I say release. On Monday we shared the release dates and titles for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in theaters on Dec. 14, 2012, while The Hobbit: There and Back Again opens Dec. 13, 2013. This announcement has forced 20th Century Fox to push back Ang Lee's Life of Pi by one week. The adaptation stars Tobey Maguire and is now slated for release on December 14, 2012. This move will help the film by giving it two full weeks of holiday time. What are your thoughts on this news?
