Michael Cera is set to guest star on an episode of The Simpsons, called "The Daughter Also Rises.” He will voice the character of Nick, "a seemingly gallant boy who becomes a potential love interest for Lisa." The episode is set to air next season, which is the Fox's 23rd season.

Executive producer, Al Jean had this to say about the guest role:

“He starts quoting Hemingway and she says, ‘You’re not a product of the Springfield public schools, are you?’ And he goes, ‘No, I come to Springfield for the food and the women. So he talks a good game. [But] she starts to realize that he’s less than expected.”

I do not watch The Simpsons religously like I used to, bit this may be an episode I tune in for. I loved Cera in Juno, Superbad and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. He recently signed on to star in the indie thriller titled Magic, Magic. This will be a role that goes against his typical comedic roles, which will be cool.
