Emma Stone turns down PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES role

Emma Stone has turned down the role of the heroine Elizabeth Bennet in Lionsgate's adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Craig Gillespie is directing the film based on Seth Grahame-Smith novel. The film is a retelling of Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice. It tells the tale of a woman’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers. 

We reported that she was offered the role, now Deadline reports now that the offer never made it to negotiations stage. It is a shame because she is a great actress and would have been awesome in this film. I am excited to see who gets cast. Who do you think would be a good person to cast?
