Lionsgate goes AWOL with Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer and others

Lionsgate is currently setting up it's cast for the upcoming drama AWOL. Max Adler, Liam Hemsworth, Chris Lowell, Teresa Palmer, Austin Stowell and Aimee Teegarden ar currently in talks, Variety reports.
Danny Mooney, who had supporting roles in Whip It and The Genesis Code, will direct the film. The story is set "during the Vietnam war, the story revolves around a soldier (Stowell) who goes AWOL with his best friend (Hemsworth) after his girlfriend (Teegarden) leaves him." Production is slated to start next month in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

I am interested in seeing Hemsworth in The Hunger Games. The rest of the cast sounds solid and the story sounds good. What are your thoughts on this news?
