Kevin Smith’s RED STATE getting distribution!

Deadline reports that Lionsgate has obtained the rights to distribute Kevin Smith’s Red State.   Smith will keep the theatrical rights to the film, but Lionsgate will pretty much has rights to everything else.  

I have been greatly intrigued by this film.  I have not had a chance to see it yet, but I am going to see it. Here is IMDb’s synopsis of it:

Set in Middle America, a group of teens receive an online invitation for sex, though they soon encounter fundamentalists with a much more sinister agenda.
