Sequels planned for BRUCE ALMIGHTY and DUMB & DUMBER

Jim Carrey talked about his upcoming projects while doing press for Mr. Popper's Penguins, which arrives in theaters on June 17th.  It looks as though fans could be seeing sequels to Bruce Almighty and Dumb & Dumber

Here is what Carrey had to say to Comingsoon.net:

"We're talking about maybe returning to some old characters that everyone has been asking about"...There's 'Bruce Almighty' and we're talking about maybe another 'Dumb and Dumber'."

Bobby and Peter Farrelly directed Dumb & Dumber , which was released in 1994. Carrey starred alongside Jeff Daniels and was a breakout role for Carrey. Bruce Almighty, was an international hit in 2003, grossing $485 million.

Both of these films have already had sequels of sorts, but without Carrey's involvement. Evan Almighty was released with Steve Carell in the lead in 2007.  A prequel was released in 2003 called Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd.

If Carrey and Daniel's are involved I would really be excited for a Dumb & Dumber sequel. I was not a huge fan of Bruce Almighty, so I could really care less. What are your thoughts on these possible sequels?
