SALT Sequel is Moving Forward with Angelina Jolie

Sony Pictures is officially moving forward with a sequel to the action thriller Salt, and Angelina Jolie is set to reprise her role. Kurt Wimmer is writing the script and it will following the continuing adventure of Evelyn Salt, the CIA agent who spent the first movie running from the government and kicking ass after it was revealed that she was a Russian Spy.

I surprisingly enjoyed the movie Salt. I wasn't really expecting that much from it, but it did the job of entertaining me, it was still mediocre. I don't really think a sequel is necassary. It made around $300 million at the box office, but I'm not even sure a sequel will do that well.
