2011 Emmy Nominations announced - MAD MEN and MILDRED PIERCE top list

Mad Mend and Mildred Pierece were the top contendors today when Melissa McCarthy and Joshua Jackson announced the 2011 Primetime Emmy nominations in Los Angeles today. There were a number of suprises, predictable nominees and a few disappointments.

Jane Lynch will be hosting the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 18. For the full list of nominees head over to the Emmys website. I am happy to see Parks & Recreation and Modern Family on the list of comedy nominees. I am hopeful that Mireille Enos wins for The Killing, which is underrepresented on the list.
