Plot details revealed for THE WOLFMAN sequel

Movie by

Universal Home Entertainment has revealed some details about the upcoming direct-to-video sequel to Joe Johnston's The Wolfman. Bloody Disgusting reports that it is not going with the title of Werewolf and is currently untitled. The film is being directed by Louis Morneau based on a screenplay by Michael Tabb.

Here is a description of the film that has been described as a "whodunit":

The new film will take place in a 1901 Romania with the lead character, "Daniel," caring for his sick mother and attending medical school. Daniel is then recruited to join a group of nomad bounty-hunters tracking down "a disturbing presence" terrorizing the town. Daniel and "Charles" quickly bond and must work together to uncover who this new breed of werwolf is.

Filming is slated to begin this September in Romania. Joe Johnston's film was a huge mess so I am glad this is not getting a theatrical release, but personally think that it should not be made at all. What are your thoughts on this news?
