New International Trailer for FRIGHT NIGHT
DreamWorks has released a new international trailer for their remake of the classic 1980's vampire horror film, Fright Night. The film stars Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant and Toni Collette. Most of these actors showed up at Comic-Con last week to talk about the film, and they showed of some new footage from the film as well that was pretty cool. Fright Night looks like it's going to be great mix of humor and horror, which is something I was afraid they would be able to recapture. I wasn't really excited about it at first because I'm a fan of the original film, but the movie looks a lot better than what I was expecting.
The film is set to come out on August 19th 2011, watch the new trailer below, and tell us what you think!
Here's the official synopsis:
Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.
