A Short video History of CG Characters in Movies

Vimeo user lnrdshelby has created this great educational video that takes the audience through the history of computer generated characters in movies throughout the years starting with the films of Ray Harryhausen. Being a huge film fanatic myself none of the stuff presented in the video is new to me, but there might be something in it that you didn't know.
