Clark Gregg and Rachel Bilson are set to star in The To Do List (previously called The Hand Job). The Playlist reports that they have joined the cast that includes, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Donald Glover, Connie Britton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Scott Porter, D.C. Pierson and Dominic Dierkes.
The script was written and will be directed by comic Maggie Carey. It tells the story of "a studious, type A overachiever who has recently graduated from high school but remains sexually inexperienced. Before hitting college, she decides she’s going to check off every possible sex act and embarks on an adventure like no other with goals on her list including hand-job, titty-fuck, blow-job, fingering…you get the idea. Naturally, her friends are naturally shocked by her sudden and somewhat agressive quest."
Plaza plays the lead with Britton as her liberal, free-spirited mother; Porter stars as a grunge rocker Plaza has a crush on, Simmons is a classmate and Mintz-Plasse his sci-fi geek friend. Dierkes, Pierson and Glover are each playing lifeguards while Hader will play a stoned pool manager. Gregg and Bilson’s exact roles are not known yet, but will likely star as Plaza’s conservative father and older sister respectively. Filming is likely to begin soon for a fall 2012 release date.
Sounds like a great cast and a hilarious story. I am excited to learn more about this film. What are your thoughts on this news?
