New Photos from the Set of PROMETHEUS
Two new photos from the set of Ridley Scott's new Alien inspired sci-fi film Prometheus has leaked on the internet today. The two images show us set designs that were obviously inspired by artist H.R. Giger, who worked on the designs for the previous Alien film. It will be cool to see how these sets play out in the film, and what we will be seeing in them. But, to give you an example of the scale of these set pieces, check out the image above and the chair sitting in that chamber door. This is one big-ass set.
The film stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender and Ben Foster. Here's the previously released short synopsis for the film, which doesn't give us much.
Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.
What are your thoughts on these set designs?
