Jason Ritter is bouncing back after NBC cancelled it's sci-fi drama The Even, and has two roles lined up. THR reports that he is set to reprise his role as Mark Cyr, Sarah's (Lauren Graham) love interest and Amber's (Mae Whitman) teacher, for the upcoming third season of Parenthood.

In addition, Ritter will star in a new hourlong drama that is in the early stages of development from Jason Katims, Parenthood and Friday Night Lights showrunner. Details are very scarce on the project at this time. Production on the thrid season of Parenthood's starts on July 18, and returns at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

I am a huge fan of Jason Ritter and am happy that he has found other roles to work on. I hope he also will be starring in more feature films, like The Education of Charlie Banks and W. Parenthood is a great show and it will be cool to learn more about this drama when details are released. What are your thoughts?
