New DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK Film Clip - Teddy Bear
FilmDistrict has released a new film clip for the Guilermo del Toro produced Troy Nixie directed horror film, Don't be Afraid of the Dark. I've heard this film is awesomely frightening, and I love it when a movie actually freaks me out, because it's a rare thing to do these days... I don't scare easily.
The clip below featuring the little girl character checking out a little stuffed teddy bear that's saying, "I love you." Now if I saw that in a creepy house like the one in the film, I would never go into that house again. It's common sense.
Synopsis:
Guillermo del Toro presents DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, a horror film starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison, directed by Troy Nixey. Based on the 1973 telefilm that del Toro believes is the scariest TV production ever made, the story follows Sally (Madison), a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Holmes) in the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the house, Sally starts to hear voices coming from creatures in the basement whose hidden agenda is to claim her as one of their own. Akin to del Toro's PAN'S LABYRINTH, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK focuses on a young girl's struggle against menacing and terrifying forces.
The film is scheduled to be released later this month on August 26th, and I can't wait to see it!
