ABC commits to NAVY SEAL'S drama pilot from Jerry Bruckheimer

ABC has committed to a pilot on a new drama from Jerry Bruckheimer's Bruckheimer TV. Deadline reports that the network has a put commitment for an untitled Navy SEALs drama from Life creator/executive producer Rand Ravich. The series is based on the lives of Navy SEALs and their families. Ravich is writing the script and is executive producing the project with his producing partner Far Shariat, Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producing.

The Navy SEALs are a hot commodity in Hollywood, especially after the successful assassination of Osama Bin Laden by an elite team of US Navy SEALs. This is the second major for Bruckheimer TV. A procedural drama from writer Aron Eli Coleite about "a mom who becomes a New York State Trouper", received a put pilot commitment at CBS.
