Johnny Knoxville and Patton Oswalt to play Brothers in New Camping Comedy
Johnny Knoxville and Patton Oswalt are set to star in a new upcoming untitled comedy. In the film they will play "battling brothers who attempt to honor their ailing father by taking a troop of boys on a camping trip." Of course things get out of control on the trip.
Todd Rohal will direct the film that is being produced and financed by Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf's Big Beach Films. Rohal was also the one that wrote the script for the comedy which was called Scout Master. He most recently made The Catechism Cataclysm, which was a crazy weird yet entertaining movie. I wonder if this new comedy is going to be just as trippy, or if it will be a little more main stream.
Rohal has done some offbeat stuff which I've enjoyed, and I think Knoxville and Oswalt will make a fun team up on the big screen. This movie could end up being a very fun and very unique comedy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it actually ends up being. The film starts production this week and Rob Riggle, Maura Tierney and Patrice O'Neal are also set to co-star in the film.
What do you think of Knoxville and Oswalt teaming up for a film?
