WOLVERINE 2 start date pushed back to Spring 2012?

It looks like Wolverine 2 may have it's start date pushed back to Spring 2012. Deadline reports that Fox never officially set a start date for production. The studio was initially consiering a Fall 2011 start date for the film directed by James Mangold based on a script by Christopher McQuarrie. Now they are planning a Spring 2012 start date. The screenplay for the film is said to take place mostly in Japan.

The big problem has been finding good places to shoot in Japan because of weather and earthquake that has impacted the area. The location may switch to Canada or become a combination of the two countries. The start date will also wait until after Hugh Jackman finishes making Les Miserables.

I think that it's a good idea to wait. I know Fox likely wanted to get the film into production to capitalize on X-Men: First Class's success. I would rather see a well organized and planned film, instead of a rushed film. What are your thoughts?
