MTV Teases the Teaser Trailer for THE HUNGER GAMES

The first teaser trailer for The Hunger Games is set to air during MTV's Video Music Awards, and they recently released a teaser ad for that teaser trailer. You know you have a big thing going when you are making trailers for trailers. This ads gives us 1 second of footage from the film of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) intensely looking at something.

The Hunger Games is based on the novels written by Suzanne Collins, and follows 16-year-old Katniss, who lives in a post-apocalyptic American called Panem. Every year, the rulers of the nation require each of the 12 districts to send one boy and one girl to the Hunger Games, a fight-to-the-death competition in which only one contestant survives.

Check out the teaser tease below, and tell us what you think! The full teaser trailer will air this Sunday during the VMA's, which I won't be watching.
