Ryan Gosling to star next Terrence Malick film before LOGAN'S RUN?

It looks like Ryan Gosling is going to star in Terrence Malick's next film, before he films Logan's Run with Nicolas Winding Refn. FilmSchoolRejects was at a Q&A with Refn for Drive - which also stars Gosling. During the event Refn revealed two bits of interesting information: "For one, apparently Ryan Gosling will soon be working with Terrence Malick. Refn briefly mentioned that Gosling may do the project after he’s done with Only God Forgives, and before Logan’s Run. Obviously, this news means we’ll be getting the remake a little later than expected."

From everything that I have heard about Drive, Gosling will be getting a bunch of cool offers for roles. Many actors would jump at the chance to work with Malick so I can understand if we get confirmation soon on Gosling's casting, Earlier we reported that Christian Bale is set to star in Malick's film, scheduled to start shooting in early 2012. It haas been reported that Malick is currenlty searching for a lead female female role and that he is considering between Rooney Mara, Haley Bennet, Clemence Poesy and Mia Wasikowska.

I am excited to see Drive and just about any film Gosling stars in. What are your thoughts on this news?
