SUPERNATURAL creator teaming with CW to adapt DEADMAN

CW may have found it's Smallville replacement. Deadline reports that the network has teamed with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke to adapt Deadman, a drama based on the DC Comics books by Arnold Drake and Carmine Infantino. The project is about "the spirit of a murdered man, Boston Brand, who lives on as he inhabits other people’s bodies and helps them solve crises in their own lives." Warner Bros TV is producing the show, they oversee the creation of DC catalog for TV series. Kripke is writing and serving as exec producer on the project.

Kripke continues to serve as an exec producer on Supernatural, but is not running the show anymore. He is a perfect choice to develop Deadman for the small screen. What are your thoughts?
