Beyonce's Pregnancy Affects A STAR IS BORN Start Date
Filming on Beyonce’s next movie will likely be postponed due to her pregnancy.
Beyonce, who announced her pregnancy on Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards, is set to star in A Star Is Born remake.
The Golden Globe-nominee was cast in January to star in Clint Eastwood's telling of the story of a young singer who falls in love with a spiraling, fading rock star. According to Deadline, filming on the movie was due to begin in February. That won't happen, the site reports, quoting an insider's relaying that Eastwood has agreed to delay rolling until the baby is delivered and the singer is back to full strength.
The film still does not have a leading man, as Eastwood's J. Edgar star Leonardo DiCaprio declined to take on the role of the alcoholic musician.
"I met with Clint and I was so nervous and I know that it is the biggest opportunity of my life,” Beyonce said about the film. “I will work as hard as I can, because I can’t wait. And I am so happy that he trusts me and I am in good hands and I am so fortunate."
This will be the fourth version of the film; previously, versions were produced starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson 1976, Judy Garland and James Mason in 1954 and Janet Gaynor and Fredric March in 1937.
Do you all think they should replace her and let the show go on so to speak? Or wait for the baby to come and find her a great co-star?
