Bruce Boxleitner briefly gives an update on TRON 3

Earlier this year it was announced that Disney would be moving forward with a third Tron film, which I think is great. Regardless of the story and script problems with Tron: Legacy I still enjoyed it, I loved the concept and the updated world. With a third film they could do so much more with this universe, and put together a much better polished script and story. They are also currently developing a great looking animated series called Tron: Uprising

It's been a few months since we've had any update on Tron 3, but a fan caught up with Tron actor Bruce Boxleitner at the D23 Expo, and he confirmed the development of Tron 3, that he would once again be a part of it, and that is should be released sometime in 2013. Honestly... you can't have a Tron film without Boxleitner. In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing more of the character Tron in this third movie.
