Michael Rapaport and Ed Burns to Star in the HBO Comedy 40!

Writer/director Doug Ellin is wasting no time getting to work.  I thought he might take some time off with the end of Entourage.  The guy is a worklaholic, he is working on a new show for HBO called 40.  It will be a half hour long and will star Ed Burns and Michael Rapaport.  Here is the synopsis that deadline gave for the show.

Michael Rapaport has been tapped to star opposite Ed Burns in the ensemble comedy, which revolves around four lifelong friends who help each other navigate life at 40, which isn't all they expected it to be. Burns plays one of them, a married guy and a father who used to work at Bear Stearns making over $2 million a year but has now been out of work for almost a year. Rapaport, repped by Paradigm and Brillstein Entertainment, will play another friend, also married, who is described as a neurotic everyman.

I have no particular feeling towards a show like this, so I will give it a shot.  Let us know what you think.
