Must Watch RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Weta SFX Featurette

Fox has released this fantastic new featurette for their upcoming film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The featurette focuses on the special effects in the film that were gloriously created by Weta Digital. It gives us an awesome look at how the film was shot using the motion capture technology in the real settings and sets. There was a recent screening of the film, and I've heard from from a friend of mine that the film is awesome, and was told I wouldn't be disappointed. 

The movie hits theaters on August 5th, and stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo and Andy Serkis.

Official Plot Synopsis:

RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is an origin story in the truest sense of the term. Set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
