Comedian DeRay Davis cast in GI JOE: RETALIATION

DeRay Davis is set to star in GI Joe Retaliation. According to the following tweets which revealed he has joined the cast:

Good 1st day on set ... Good to see the homie at Channing TaTum again and the ROCK is funny as hell. Now off to Baton Rouge to DO DAT THERE!

This marks the second film he will star with Channing Tatum in. The actor stars in the upcoming 21 Jump Street movie. Let's hope that he is not going to play as big of a role as Marlon Wayans did in the firs film. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
