Tom Hardy Responds to Negative BANE Comments - "Just Trust Me"

I'm actually surprised by the amount of people that didn't like the look and/or sound of Tom Hardy as Bane. I never really had any issue with it, I've said time and time again that I trust what Nolan is doing with The Dark Knight Rises, the guy has a vision and I can't wait to see it up on the big screen.  

In a recent interview with cinemovie.tv, Tom Hardy admits that he reads the negative comments that have been made about Bane, and jokes that fans want to him to be 400lbs. He jokingly says in the interview, "I do read comments and I cry. I can't cry for everybody." He goes on to say that he understands that fans loves their superheroes and that whoever steps into that role will be scrutinized. "So many people love him. And when you step into that role - you are going to fail. And be judged." Hardy tries to deal with all of this by "switching off" but he says that "he's human and its hard to ignore the blogosphere." 

The guy is just doing the best he can as the character and he's being directed by one of the best director working in Hollywood right now, so I don't understand why so many people are complaining. Hardy concludes by saying... "Just trust me. I trust Nolan." And if you liked the first two Nolan Batman films then you should trust him as well. Personally I think Hardy is going to be awesome in this role.
