Bruce Campbell confirmed for pivotal role in Sam Raimi's OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL

Bruce Campbell has starred in a number of Sam Raimi films and it looks like he will also star in Oz The Great and Powerful. Cinemablend reports that Campbell announced via Twitter that he has a role. The actor tweeted  "I. Am. In. Oz,"

There are very few details other than that at this time. Campbell tweeted. "Sam Raimi refuses to tell me what character I will portray. Just know that the role is PIVOTAL." The film is staged as a prequel to the 1939 technicolor classic. The cast includes, James Franco "as Oscar Diggs, a magician/con-man who finds himself in the Land of Oz. Convincing everyone that he's a great wizard, he has everyone entranced - everyone except for three witches (Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams) who believe that he's an imposter. "

Army of Darkness was the last leading role that Campbell worked with Raimi on. He has since starred in the Spider-Man franchise. I am hopeful that "pivotal" means he will be in more than just one scene. What are your thoughts on this news?
