Mark Ruffalo and Amanda Seyfried join NOW YOU SEE ME

Mark Ruffalo and Amanda Seyfried are set to star in the heist thriller Now You See Me for Summit Entertainment. Variety reports that the they join the film written by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt. The story tells the story of "a  group of elite magicians who also pull off elaborate bank robberies during their production, while trying to stay one step ahead of the FBI." Ruffalo will play the "top FBI agent handling the case," and Seyfried is playig "a technical expert who builds several devices to help the illusionists pull off the heists." The cast also includes Jesse Eisenberg and Mélanie Laurent.

Now You See Me is being directed by Louis Leterrier. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are producing under their Kurtzman Orci Paper Products company. A firm production date has not been announced, but the film is slated to arrive in theaters in 2012.

This sounds like a great concept and the cast is really solid. Ruffalo is a great actor. I am not a huge fan of Seyfried, but she continues to get roles. What are your thoughts on this news?
