Terrence Malick already filming Christian Bale for next film?

Earlier we reported that Christian Bale was cast in Terrence Malick's next project. It looks as thought cameras could already be rolling on that, despite The Dark Knight Rises still being filmed by Christopher Nolan. Bale was in Austin for the  Austin City Limits music festival this weekend. The odd part is that he had Malick and a full camera crew with him?
