Nathan Fillion, Tim Daly and more join JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM cast
Justice League: Doom has found it's all-star cast. TVGude is reporting that Castle's Nathan Fillion, Tim Daly and Michael Rosenbaum are a few of the stars that are set to provide the voices of superheros in the Warner Home Video's series of DC Comics adaptations.
Fillion will reprise the role of Green Lantern, which he first voiced in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. The longtime voices of Batman (Daly) and Superman (Kevin Conroy) are in the mix. The cast gets rounded out by: Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash, Carl Lumbly (Alias) as Martian Manhunter and veteran voice actress Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman. They are joined by Cyborg, a character not seen on Justice League, which will be played by Bumper Robinson (The Game).
Justice League: Doom is based on JLA: Tower of Babel, written by Mark Waid. The plot is as follows: "Batman's secret contingency plans to defeat his own teammates (should any of them go rogue) are stolen and put into action by a group of super villains."Acclaimed animation/comic book writer Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away earlier this year, penned the script. Bruce Timm is serving as executive producer.
A trailer for Justice League: Doom will premiere at New York Comic Con on Friday, Oct. 14, and is featured on the Batman: Year One DVD, which goes on sale Tuesday, Oct. 18. The movie arrives in 2012 on DVD, Blu-ray, digital download and VOD.
