Karl Urban on JUDGE DREDD - He wants to make sure you wont Puke in your Popcorn

Karl Urban is talking his job as Judge Dredd pretty seriously, he wants to give fans the true nature of the character in the new film he is making. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm excited as well for Judge Dredd to hit theaters! How can you go wrong with Urban, even if he doesn't show his face through the whole film. That's right folks, Karl Urban will not be giving Judge Dredd a face in the movie so that he can stay true to the character, who he is, and what he stands for. Urban had this to say in a recent interview with Total film,
If anyone is familiar with Dredd, over the years there are many times when he removes his helmet but you never fully see his face. This was a construct by the creators because he represents a faceless system of justice and law.
I say this hypothetically. If I went to a movie called Judge Dredd and the lead actor at one point took off his helmet so we could see his full face I would just puke in my popcorn because that's not Dredd. He is mysterious and enigmatic. We're doing it right, it's gonna be harder, grittier and above all faithful to the comic. It's gonna kick ass.
He must have not like the Sylvester Stallone film either. So to save us the trouble of puking in our popcorn, Dredd's identity and face will remain hidden. I've got no problems with Urban showing his face in the movie, as long as fans are happy and he gets paid. From what I've been hearing about this film it's going to be pretty hardcore. I think movie goers and fans are going to be happy with what they see in this new Dredd film.
What do you all think about what Urban had to say here?
