The story behind this film Revenge for Jolly is an interesting one, for the fact there's been absolutely no word of it's existence, it has an incredible cast, and it just completed shooting. This is an independent film produced by Charles Roven's (The Dark Knight) new independent production company Atlas Entertainment, and they have announced that the film has wrapped.
The movie was helmed by short film director Chadd Harbold, and the impressively awesome cast includes Oscar Isaac (Drive), Brian Petsos (Funny or Die Presents), Elijah Wood, Kristen Wiig, Adam Brody, Ryan Phillippe, Kevin Corrigan, Bobby Moynihan, Gillian Jacobs, Garret Dillahunt, and David Rasche.
The movie follows the interestingly weird tale of a "owner (Petsos) of a dog who died under suspicious circumstances thus sending he and his cousin (Isaac) following a series of clues in an attempt to track down the dog’s murderer, leaving a path of destruction in their wake."
I love where this idea can go, because it's so off the wall and whacky that it could end up anywhere! I imagine many of the actors above will play a small role in the story as the two main characters hunt down the dead dogs murderer.
I'll be looking forward to seeing this movie, what do you all think?
