Idris Elba Will Be Back in THOR 2 and Possibly THE AVENGERS

Idris Elba, who played the Norse god Heimdall in Marvel's Thor, recently talked to MTV and confirmed that he will definitely be back for Thor 2, and that there's a possibility we might see the character in The Avengers as well, which would make sense. Here's what he briefly had to say,

Thor 2 for sure. Avengers, we're not sure about, but Thor 2 we're going at it again.

The Avengers has wrapped shooting, so if he says he's not sure that he'll be in it or not, it sounds like he may have shot some footage, but he's not sure if it will make the final cut of the film. 

I remember a lot of complaints about Elba being cast as Heimdall, which just seems ridiculous. He did a great job, so it will be cool to see him back in action. See the video interview below where he also briefly talks about Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim.
