Matthew Lillard in Talks To Star Opposite Clint Eastwood in TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE

Matthew Lillard may join the cast of Robert Lorenz's Trouble With The Curve. EW reports that Lillard is in talks to star opposite Clint Eastwood in the baseball drama. The Scream actor can currently be seen opposite George Clooney in The Descendants.
Lillard would play "a baseball scout opposite Eastwood in the film from Warner Bros. The film follows Eastwood’s character, 'an aging scout coping with blindness, on a trip to Atlanta to evaluate a player.'" Production is scheduled to begin in early March. Earlier we reported that Amy Adams will play Eastwood’s daughter.
This sounds like a much better film than Eastwood's latest endeavors. What makes it stand out is that Lorenz and Eastwood have a strong relationship and have worked together to produce Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River.
