JAWS The Ride - Tribute Video
After 22 years the Jaws ride at Universal Studios Orlando has closed down. As I've never been to to the Jaws ride in Orlando, this video is the first time I have experienced it, and it's much different than the Universal Studios Hollywood version that I've seen my whole life. I've got to say the Orlando version is a hell of a lot cooler, and now that I've seen the video I'm pissed I'll never actually be able to experience it in real life. On Jan. 2, 2012, Universal Orlando closed its iconic Jaws ride and Amity area permanently to make way for a new attraction. Inspired by the Steven Spielberg film Jaws, this video takes a cinematic approach to paying tribute to the attraction which first debuted at Universal Studios Florida in 1990. Featuring John Williams' famous score, multiple camera angles, and a few added sound effects, this video not only captures the action of the attraction but does so as if it were a movie - a Jaws sequel of sorts.
