24 Movie - Kiefer Sutherland Gives an Update

We finally have some news on the 24 movie. TV Line spoke with Kiefer Sutherland, who revealed a possible start date and some plot details. According to Sutherland, the plan is to begin shooting in late April or early May. It is also reported that  the movie will start off where the TV show ended and will only jump forward six months. Just like the show, the film will occur during a 24 hour period, but obviously won't play out in real time. 

A director has yet to be announced for the film. The script was penned by Mark Bomback and Billy Ray, and Sutherland is the only actor set to return. We will keep you posted on casting news as it becomes available.
