Ralph Fiennes to Join Wes Anderson's THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL

Movie Wes Anderson by Joey Paur

For those of you who know and enjoy the films of director Wes Anderson, then you know he likes to work with the same actors in the films that he makes. His regulars include such actors as Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Owen Wilson and more. It looks like he's looking to let Ralph Fiennes join the Anderson movie making club.

The actor is currently in talks to take on the lead role in Anderson's next movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. According to Variety he will play "a character named M. Gustave, who serves as the hotel's perfectly composed concierge."

At one point Johnny Depp was attached to star in the film, but things didn't work out. As it stands right now, Fiennes will join Angela Lansbury, Jude Law and Anderson regulars Murray and Wilson. There's not much known about the movie at this point, but I think Fiennes will make a great addition to Anderson's fun little world.

Fiennes is an incredible actor that has starred in such films as Schindler’s ListThe English PatientThe Reader, In Bruges and, of course, he played Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise. Some of the future films he will appear in include Great ExpectationsSkyfall and The Invisible Woman, which he also directed.

Are you looking forward to seeing Fiennes in this new Wes Anderson film? I'm sure it will be a character unlike anything we've ever seen him play before.
