Bradley Cooper to Join Emma Stone in Cameron Crowe's Next Film
We Bought A Zoo director Cameron Crowe is looking to cast Bradley Cooper as his leading man along side Emma Stone in his next film project. The movie still has no title, but it's a love story that's been compared toAlmost Famous and Jerry Maguire. It's easy for me to see Cooper fitting in the world of films Crowe has created.
Several movie blogs have speculated that that this could be Deep Tiki, the supernatural romantic comedy that Crowe was trying to get off the ground before We Bought A Zoo. At one point it had Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon attached.
From what we know of the film, it centers on a disgraced military weapons consultant who is deployed to a dormant base in Hawaii to supervise the launch of a spy satellite. While there he discovers himself and thinks about the relationships he left behind. The story is set against the backdrop of mythical island lore and Cold War-esque diplomacy. It even involved visions of Hawaiian Gods and a volcano sacrifice.
The thing about this is, the story seems to bear very little resemblance to the two movies his next project is being compared to... Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire. So it could be a completely different.
