MAN OF STEEL Licensing Conceptual Art

ArtMovie Man of Steel by Joey Paur

There's not a lot of Man of Steel stuff out there. We've only seen one official image of Henry Cavill as Superman, and a few different variations of the logo. Other than that there's just been the set photos. Today we get our first look at some of the licensing promotional art from the film being worked on by Kris Taguiam that he posted on his Statigram account. As you can see, it's just conceptual art that will eventually be placed on Man of Steel products.

The first full trailer for the movie will be released with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on December 14th. I can't wait to see more footage from the movie! Maybe this time they'll give us something we can really go crazy about! The movie hits theaters on June 14th, 2013.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question ‘Why am I here?’ Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.
