THE HOBBIT - Behind the Scenes Photos and Higher Frame Rate Info
Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is almost here! It comes out on December 14th so we have little over a month before we are sitting in a dark movie theater watching it in 48fps and in 3D.
Today, we bring you some cool behind the scenes photos of the film featuring Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Andy Serkis decked out in his mocap gear, a handful of Dwarves, and some Goblin extras doing calisthenics.
I've also included a little infographic released explaining the higher 48 frames per second frame rate that the film was shot in. The result of the higher frame rate doesn't look like the classic style of cinema we are accustomed to seeing. I think this is going to be something audiences will need time to get used too. You will find that infographic at the bottom of the post.
Are you looking forward to seeing the movie in a higher frame rate?
