Joe Carnahan Teases Opening Scene to Mark Millar's NEMESIS
The Grey director Joe Carnahan has been working on developing a feature film adaptation of Mark Millar's comic book Nemesis for a few months, and he's currently in the process of writing the screenplay. I always thought Carnahan was the right man for the job for this comic, and he recently took to his twitter account to tease the opening of the film...
Working on 'Nemesis' at the moment. This opening is either going to galvanize the audience or have them fleeing the theater in droves...

That's enough to to hook me! If you haven't read the comic, it opens up with Nemesis destroying a part of Tokyo, and brutally murdering a police chief. There's no word on if Carnahan will use this opening, but there's always the chance he could mix it up and do something different, something even crazier. The comic is full of insanity that Carnahan could pull from. This is a such an insane villainous character, and I can't wait to see what Carnahan is planning to do with him!
For those of you not really familiar with the comic, here's the comic plot summary...
What if the smartest, toughest costumed bad ass in the world was totally evil? Meet Nemesis. He's systematically been destroying the lives of every police chief in Asia, and he's now set his sights on Washington, DC. Between you and me, the police don't have a chance.
