WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER Sequel Confirmed

Michael Showalter has says that the long-awaited sequel to Wet Hot American Summer is moving forward. Huffington Post shared a video from Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, where Showalter confirmed the sequel by saying:

Absolutely yes. One hundred percent yes. The whole gang. Everyone's back. We're doing it.

The film has become a cult classic since its release in 2001. A sequel has been on our radar since last summer, when cast members Christopher Meloni, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Janeane Garofalo, and David Hyde Pierce said they would love to do a sequel during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The movie had a great cast, and it will be cool to see them all back together if it actually happens. Watch the video below, and share your thoughts.
