Josh Duhamel Clarifies TRANSFORMERS Rumors

Josh Duhamel, who has starred in all three Transformers films, says that not only will he not return for the recently announced Transformers 4 but to not expect anyone else to either.

Talking to E! Online, Duhamel said,

I don't think anybody's doing it. I know Shia [LaBeouf]'s not doing it, I don't think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it. Whenever these movies make that much money they're going to make as many as they can. [But] I haven't heard anything about it. They haven't called me.

Rumors have abounded that the films will be set in the same universe, but focus on different characters. The Transformers themselves will return. Regardless of Duhamel's comments, Michael Bay isn't focusing on Transformers 4 right now. He's about to start work on his first original film in nearly a decade, Pain & Gain, starring Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Once Bay finishes Pain & Gain, then he will start to piece together Transformers 4. What do you think? Are you sad to see the cast go? Who would you like to see star in a new Transformers movie?
