THE HUNGER GAMES - IMAX Banner
Lionsgate has released this brand new IMAX banner for The Hunger Games. The story is being adapted for the big screen by Gary Ross, and from what I've seen so far, everything looks great! The movie is set to be released on March 23rd, 2012. It would be crazy if a game like this actually existed these days in our society. Games where people are forced to battle to the death! What do you think your chances of survival would be in a game like this? With the way reality TV is going, one day it might actually happen.
Here's the Synopsis:
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
