THE BOURNE LEGACY - New Image of Jeremy Renner in Action
Thanks to Empire Magazine here's another image from the great looking action-packed film The Bourne Legacy. The Tony Gilroy-directed film looks like it's going to be awesome, and I'm sure it will make a great addition to the Bourne franchise. I was very impressed by the trailer, and it seems like a lot of people are surprisingly excited about the movie. We didn't know what to expect until that trailer rolled around, and it did a damn good job selling a lot of us on the movie.
The film stars Jeremy Renner who is going to blow up on screen as a new character in the series, as well as Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach, and Oscar Isaac.
Here's the Synopsis:
The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.
The film hits theaters on August 3rd, 2012. Do you think Renner will end up being a better lead than Matt Damon?
