Jeff Bridges Offered DIRTY GRANDPA, Michael Douglas Second Choice

Who would you like to play the role of a dirty grandpa--Jeff Bridges or Michael Douglas? Vulture reports that Bridges has been offered the lead in Universal Pictures' comedy Dirty Grandpa, which is being penned by John Phillips. If Bridges passes on the role, the studio plans to offer the part to Douglas. The film follows a "soon-to-be-married uptight grandson who is tricked into escorting his lascivious and recently widowed former Army general of a grandfather to spring break in Florida." This should be a pretty raunchy movie, since Phillips is also writing the Bad Santa sequel.

I could believe both actors in this role. Bridges' roles in Crazy Heart and The Door In The Floor make him a good candidate for this role. His comedic timing in The Big Lebowski should also be taken into consideration. As far as Douglas goes, Solitary Man and Wonder Boys are two good roles to consider. Plus, we know he can rock the military hair cut from his role in Falling Down
Based on this information, do you think Bridges or Douglas is a better fit for the role?
